About Us

An awareness initiative so every Jain is counted correctly in Census 2027.

Let Every Jain Count (LEJC) is a PAN India Janganana awareness initiative with one single purpose, to make sure every Jain is counted correctly in India's National Census 2027.

For a long time, Jains have been undercounted. When our count is wrong, our voice, our recognition and our identity all weaken, and that gap shapes policy and planning for the next decade.

So we do one thing well: we tell every Jain family why the census matters and exactly how to be recorded correctly, family to family and mandir to mandir.

From Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Surat, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Noida, Gurugram and countless towns across India, our volunteers carry that message to every Jain household.

We believe that:

  • Every Jain should be counted correctly in the census
  • Accurate numbers are the community's identity and voice
  • No Jain family should be missed in the census
  • Awareness is the most powerful tool to make this happen

LEJC is an awareness initiative, so that every Jain is counted correctly in Census 2027.

Together, let every Jain be counted correctly in Census 2027.
